8. To engage in the professional activities determined in section 9, an ambulance technician must be registered in the national workforce registry of ambulance technicians established pursuant to subparagraph 10 of the second paragraph of section 3 of the Act respecting pre-hospital emergency services (chapter S-6.2) and have obtained an ambulance technician qualification certificate allowing the ambulance technician to engage in those activities.
